Alone

I broke up with her
saw blood in her eyes
but had no choice
my end was nigh
couldn’t let her see me dying.

we hugged and parted ways
I wished god 
for her to move on
for her to live life 
even when I am gone.

As the days passed by
taking me near
to the end of my life,
I sit back and remember
the old days,
our old days
from the day we first 
to the day when I 
made her eyes wet,
the little things we did
which made our day
our dedication to love each other
until hairs turned grey.

End was approaching me
at a fast pace
I was rushed into hospital 
being aware of the menace.
end was near 
I could feel it 
just wanted a glimpse of her
before I die 
just wanted to know 
how she is 
then out of the window I saw her
looking at me
with her watery eyes
all of a sudden
everything in this world 
came to a still
like death was saying 
oh man just chill
and see her one last time.
She came in but wasn’t alone...
