Manthan's editorial board aims to publish a wide variety of content, that explores science, society and culture across the world.

We have a wide reach and accept submissions from students not belonging to IISER Mohali as well, and in any language.

We request you to specify the submission category in the title of your email as:

<Category> Submission - <Name>

Please include your name, designation and institute details in the same.

Please ensure all submissions are under 1500 words, with the exception of reviews that may not exceed 500 words. All attached photographs must be separately submitted in the same email, in JPG or JPEG format.

Ensure you only submit ORIGINAL work, and direct your submissions to iisermag@gmail.com. We publish work that has been previously published, but it is the author's responsibility to ensure that no binding publication agreements are violated.

We accept articles from any scientific genre, written to cater to a generic undergraduate and/or postgraduate audience. Articles can belong to ANY field, and cover scientific developments, critiques or the latest discoveries. 

Science Education

We always enjoy reading articles that bring science closer to daily life. Pieces on science communication, reviews of seminars and workshops attended and internship opportunities and experiences are welcome! Send us recommendations for interesting courses available and fields that are not in the limelight, and we'd love to feature them!          

OPINION

We are looking for riveting opinion articles that cover historical and present developments.      

COLLEGE LIFE

We publish articles on social initiatives and establishments that are relevant to college life,culture, traveling and art in general and/or specific to life in a science institution.

REVIEWS

We accept reviews and critiques of books, movies and media works in any language. It is                        preferred that all media reviews are accompanied by photographs.

CREATIVE SECTION

We publish stories, poetry, comics, art and photography. 

FOOD CRITICISM

We publish reviews of restaurants and cuisine in and across Chandigarh. It is preferred that all food reviews are accompanied by relevant photographs.
